Right board side
The right board side refers to the side of the wood that faces the heartwood side. It is usually characterised by a darker colouring and a more prominent grain than the opposite side.
The right side of the wood offers numerous advantages, especially for work where stability and load-bearing capacity are important. Due to its nature, it is less susceptible to twisting and cracking than the left side. It also has a higher density and is therefore more robust.
