DERIX is a partner

The DERIX Group has been an official partner of “Holz rettet Klima” since the end of 2024.

The initiative, which was founded in 2023 by the German Timber Industry Council (DHWR), has been supported by the DERIX Group from the very beginning. Through our official partnership, we have now taken our commitment one step further.

“Wood saves the climate” aims to anchor the central role of wood in a sustainable, climate-friendly future. The initiative aims to ensure that Germany takes on a pioneering role in the use and processing of sustainable, domestic wood – for the benefit of the climate, our forests and people. With this initiative, the DHWR wants to bring together all members of the wood industry and activate them as ambassadors for climate protection through wood.
