CE marking
according to DIN EN 14080:2013

DIN EN 14080:2013 stipulates that every glulam component must be marked. This labelling must include information such as the manufacturer, the strength class or company-specific strength class, the week and year of production and the adhesive type and family.

Fulfilment of requirements
through CE marking

A CE marking permanently affixed to the glued laminated timber with the above information shall be deemed to fulfil the requirements for component marking. The CE marking shall also include information on all performance characteristics of the glued laminated timber declared by the manufacturer, which can be found in the declarations of performance of the respective manufacturer.

CE marking as a sign of quality

CE marking is an important quality feature for glulam components, as it guarantees compliance with the requirements for component marking. Customers can therefore be sure that the glulam component they have purchased meets the necessary requirements and can therefore be used safely and reliably.
