Parallel beams

Parallel beams made of glulam are the simplest and a very economical form of beam production. They are often used for flat roofs of small span widths or as secondary beams.

In the express programme, you receive straight, parallel glulam beams in the highest precision, excellent quality, exact length cutting and excellent planing pattern. We deliver all cross-sections up to 1 m high and 18 m long to order and commissioned according to customer requirements in a short time just-in-time free domicile – neatly packaged and labelled, on request tied as a ready-to-assemble kit.

Surfaces Visible quality (Si), non-visible quality (NSI) The components are cleanly planed on 4 sides and chamfered on the long edges – Chamfer width approx. 5 mm diagonally
Wood types Standard: spruce On request: larch, Douglas fir, pine; the raw wood is purchased on an order-by-order basis (minimum quantities, longer delivery time).
Component shape Straight, parallel beams without cantilever
Dimensions/Length Production is independent of stock cross-sections and standard lengths, intermediate dimensions are possible without any problems and without longer delivery times (for details see table Cross-sections Express Programme).
Picking/Packaging Standard packaging: according to commission, unsorted, package-wrapped, other packaging forms are possible
Delivery time/delivery form According to the route plan within approx. 5 working days in our defined delivery area
