The DERIX Group’s sustainable corporate concept also anchors social commitment in the company’s actions. In addition to continuous improvements in the areas of production, design, reuse and energy/material efficiency, the DERIX Group therefore also attaches great importance to social commitment. In this way, the company fulfils its overall social responsibility across the board.

In addition to regular donations to charitable and non-profit organisations, the company’s social and societal commitment also includes long-term cooperation with Lebens­hilfe Heinsberg, donations of materials (e.g. for the construction of a new building) and donations to the local community. For example, donations of materials (e.g. for the Hochneukirch children’s playground) or support for the Brüggen food bank with a building extension. We are very pleased when our commitment contributes directly to tangible improvements, as Bert Oosterkamp, treasurer of Tafel Brüggen e.V., told us:

‘The team at Tafel Brüggen e.V. would like to say a big thank you for the extension to our building, which was provided by DERIX. We now have much more space to sort the food for those in need. This makes our voluntary work much more pleasant!’
