in modular construction
The new office building in Lierderholthuis, the Netherlands, is a completely modular construction made of solid wood. The timber modules were created from our own manufactured X-LAM and glulam and were almost entirely prefabricated in the factory. Due to this construction method, the building had an enormously short construction time of one month.

in the Lierderholthuis office
The office building in Lierderholthuis has a meeting room, an open-plan office space for up to eight people, and a WC and kitchenette in the entrance area. The office space to the right of the entrance was extended by a loggia. The single-storey office building with a gable roof is founded on deconstructible and reusable screw foundations. The construction was made from wooden modules prefabricated in the factory. Approximately 60 % of the module was prefabricated in the factory. This includes the installation of the wood-aluminium windows, a finished WC as well as electrical, heating, sanitary and ventilation installations.

The advantages of wood
at the Lierderholthuis office
Due to the high degree of prefabrication of our modular construction, the office building in Lierderholthuis was available very quickly. In addition, the natural building material wood provides a pleasant working atmosphere through healthy indoor air. The wooden modules and the screw foundations can be dismantled and reused. This makes the building a circular and sustainable property.
