Het project in Solna, een gemeente in de Zweedse provincie Stockholm, is een hoteluitbreiding. Het Event-hotel \u201cQuality Hotel Friends\u201c is opgetopt met houten onderdelen en met hout-glas-gevelelementen. De extra gecre\u00eberde ruimte bevindt zich op de bestaande conferentiezaal van het hotel en deur naar de zogenaamde Friends Arena.<\/p>\n

De voordelen van hout <\/strong>

De extra belasting moet daarbij zo klein mogelijk worden gehouden. Hiervoor is hout als bouwmateriaal zeer geschikt: een houten constructie is drie tot vier keer lichter dan een constructie van beton.
