In het Duitse Nettetal-Lobberich zijn in tien maanden twee appartementencomplexen met houten modules gebouwd. Deze appartementencomplexen zijn bereikbaar via de Kempener Stra\u00dfe en de Johannes Torka Stra\u00dfe. De woongebouwen hebben dezelfde constructie en bestaan elk uit acht wooneenheden van twee verschillende groottes.<\/p>\n

De in het midden liggende toegangskern en de drie appartementen die hieraan per verdieping grenzen bestaan uit geprefabriceerde houten modules. Op de begane grond wordt een wooneenheid vervangen door de bergingen en de techniekruimte. Er zijn twee type appartementen: een tweekamerappartement met 55 m\u00b2 woonoppervlakte en een vierkamerappartement met 92 m\u00b2 woonoppervlakte. Het afbouwen omvatte de montage van de kozijnen en de elektrische, verwarmings- en sanitaire installaties en ventilatiesystemen. Op de bouwplaats werden de modules tenslotte stap voor stap gemonteerd samen met de balkons van prefab betononderdelen. Per montagedag ontstond een verdieping van negen modules.
