Het bedrijf richt zich inmiddels op de puur ecologische wijnbouw. Met het nieuwe gebouw om wijn te produceren en presenteren is het wijngoed uit het centrum van Bechtheim verhuisd en tegelijkertijd uitgebreid. Voor het architectonisch ontwerp van de gebouwen zijn de geografische en geologische locatiefactoren uitgebreid geanalyseerd. Het ontwerp van het nieuwe gebouw heeft bovendien direct betrekking op het duurzame economische merkconcept van het wijngoed. Uitkragende platte dakconstructie

Het gebouw is ingedeeld in drie niveaus en is als een trap in de berg ge\u00efntegreerd. Hierdoor hoeft er enerzijds niet veel gekoeld te worden en kan anderzijds het transport van de productie door de zwaartekracht in plaats van door pompen plaatsvinden. De dakconstructie bestaat uit 37 meter lange, meer dan 9 meter uitkragende gelamineerde houten<\/span> liggers en X-LAM-panelen<\/span>. Rondom het gebouw loopt een lint van ramen die de overgang vormen tussen de bouwdelen en de dakconstructie die aan alle kanten uitsteekt.
