De driedimensionale ruimtes van hout worden volledig prefab geproduceerd in onze fabriek, zodat de bouwplaats uitsluitend een montageplaats is. Zo worden gebouwen heel snel industrieel geproduceerd, geheel onafhankelijk van weersinvloeden of andere omstandigheden op de bouwplaats. De engineering vindt volledig plaats aan de hand van de digitale tweelingbroer van het gebouw, zodat alle problemen al in het 3D-model kunnen worden opgelost. Zo worden de afmetingen van de modules bepaald door de toegestane transportafmetingen. Hierbij heeft met name de breedte van de modules invloed op de economische haalbaarheid van het project. Een ander punt is de plattegrond. Deze moet systematisch en rechthoekig worden ontworpen, waarbij verdiepingen op een samenhangende manier boven elkaar moeten worden geplaatst. Houten onderdelen in de grond zijn in principe niet toegestaan, een fundering is daarom altijd conventioneel respectievelijk verhoogd. of op een verhoogde onderconstructie. Bovendien zijn in de houtmodulebouw verhoogde funderingen in de vorm van strook- of puntfunderingen mogelijk. Deze zijn met name geschikt voor kleinere of tijdelijke gebouwen. Het funderingsdetail van een houten gebouw heeft extra zorg nodig wat betreft de bescherming van het hout conform DIN 68800. De vloerplaat wordt door middel van houten stelregels tot op de millimeter nauwkeurig genivelleerd. Open modules maken grote ruimtes en een flexibel plattegrondontwerp mogelijk. Daarentegen kunnen gesloten modules vrijwel volledig prefab in de fabriek gemaakt worden. Na de productie worden de modules op de bouwplaats samengesteld tot \u00e9\u00e9n gebouw. De modulariteit kan in het gevelontwerp bewust worden benadrukt of juist helemaal worden bedekt. Ramen en buitendeuren worden, onafhankelijk van de gekozen gevel, in de fabriek ingebouwd.
