Hout wordt steeds populairder als bouwmateriaal. Het natuurlijke materiaal bezit uitstekende eigenschappen en unieke ecologische voordelen. Daarom is het een kwestie van ecologische verantwoordelijkheid en gezond verstand om met hout te bouwen en in gebouwen van hout te leven en te werken. Wij verwerken met behulp van de modernste technologie duurzaam geproduceerd hout tot een draagkrachtig en flexibel bouwmateriaal. Daaruit vervaardigen wij hoogwaardige dakconstructies en massieve elementen uit X-LAM (CLT) in groot formaat \u2013 individueel en conform de eisen van onze klanten. Wij maken ook complete 3D-modules van hout, die op de bouwplaats alleen nog maar geplaatst en gekoppeld moeten worden. Al onze onderdelen onderscheiden zich door een hoge mate van prefab en worden door ons just-in-time op de bouwplaats geleverd.<\/p>\n

Hout heeft een soort natuurlijke brandveiligheid: bij brand vormt zich een laag houtskool op de houten onderdelen, die de warmte slecht geleidt en de kern van de doorsnede beschermt. De gemiddelde verbrandingssnelheid is 0,7 millimeter per minuut. In 30 minuten wordt de doorsnede aan alle kanten ongeveer 20 millimeter kleiner, in 60 minuten ongeveer 40 millimeter. De doorsnede die overblijft draagt de lasten. Hierdoor kan de vereiste brandwerendheidsklasse worden bereikt.<\/p>\n

Vanuit biologisch oogpunt is hout een zeer resistent bouwmateriaal dat lang meegaat. Droog constructiehout wordt bij juist gebruik in gebouwen nauwelijks aangetast door schimmels en insecten. Daarom is het geenszins nodig om het hout met chemische conserveringsmiddelen te behandelen \u2013 zoals vroeger vaak werd aangenomen. De verschillende maatregelen om het constructieve hout te beschermen zonder chemische behandelingen en waarbij het gebruik van inheemse houtsoorten prioriteit heeft zijn samengevat in de recent herziene norm DIN 68 800.
We zien op de hele wereld zeer goede voorbeelden van de lange levensduur van hout. Veel van de oudste gebouwen op aarde zijn gebouwd met hout en staan er vandaag nog net zo bij als vele eeuwen geleden.<\/p>\n

De DERIX-groep is PEFC-gecertificeerd en gebruikt uitsluitend hout uit duurzaam beheerde bossen.
Dit betekent dat er voor elke gekapte boom een nieuwe boom wordt teruggeplant. Hierdoor gaan wij ontbossing tegen en waarborgen wij dat de houtkringloop behouden blijft en dat wij het materiaal ook in de toekomst onbeperkt kunnen blijven gebruiken. Duurzaamheid en de verantwoordelijkheid voor de volgende generatie is een grote wens van ons, die erg belangrijk is binnen ons bedrijf.<\/p>\n

Als je de investeringskosten voor een houten gebouw vergelijkt met de investeringskosten van conventionele nieuwbouw, dan zijn de investeringskosten voor een houten gebouw meestal niet lager. Houd je echter rekening met de gehele levenscyclus van het gebouw, inclusief de invloed op de ressources, het klimaat en op de gezondheid van de mensen die in het gebouw leven en werken, dan worden de onbetaalbare voordelen duidelijk. Bouwen met hout maakt korte bouwtijden mogelijk en de slanke constructies zorgen voor ruimtewinst. Het natuurlijke bouwmateriaal is gezond, ecologisch, klimaatvriendelijk en groeit weer terug. Bovendien kan het zelfs circulair gebruikt worden, doordat het teruggenomen kan worden en daardoor een restwaarde van het gebouw na het gebruik garandeert. Wij hebben de plicht<\/a><\/strong> om al onze onderdelen na het einde van hun gebruiksduur terug te nemen.<\/p>\n

Wij hebben wereldwijd met veel verschillende wetten en bouwvoorschriften te maken. Inmiddels komen deze politieke voorwaarden echter grotendeels overeen wat betreft de mogelijkheden om hout te gebruiken in gebouwen met meerdere verdiepingen en in flatgebouwen. Dankzij het gebruik van het duurzame bouwmateriaal hout worden ook de bouwprojecten duurzaam \u2013 dat heeft een positief effect op de waarde van het vastgoed conform de ESG-factoren. De afkorting ESG staat voor Environment, Social en Governance, oftewel milieu, maatschappij en goed ondernemingsbestuur. Aan de hand van deze factoren wordt gemeten hoe duurzaam een gebouw is. Tijdens zijn gehele levensduur profiteert een houtbouwproject van de kleine CO2<\/sub>-voetafdruk. In de houten onderdelen wordt CO2 namelijk langdurig opgeslagen. Ook de productie en het transport van de houten onderdelen veroorzaken minder CO2<\/sub>-uitstoot dan de productie en het transport van andere bouwmaterialen. Bovendien kan hout circulair gebruikt worden, wat ook bij een volgend gebruik een overvloed aan mogelijkheden biedt.<\/p>\n

Gemiddeld brengen wij zo\u2019n 90 procent van ons leven door in gebouwen. Daarom zouden wij ruimtes moeten cre\u00ebren, waarin wij zo gezond mogelijk kunnen leven en werken. Met onze elementen van X-LAM (CLT) en gelamineerd hout schept je hiervoor een solide basis. Het gebruikte hout heeft een positief effect op het binnenklimaat. Het neemt vocht op en geeft het weer af en zorgt zo voor een warme en behaaglijke sfeer. Naast deze natuurlijke vochtregulatie van het hout, bevatten de gebruikte lijmstoffen in onze houten onderdelen geen hoeveelheid formaldehyde die opgegeven moet worden. Dankzij zijn uitstekende eigenschappen biedt het bouwmateriaal hout voor de constructie, planning en bouwfysica grote voordelen. Zo is hout een zeer licht en tegelijkertijd enorm draagkrachtig bouwmateriaal, waarmee hallen met zeer grote overspanningen zonder kolommen kunnen worden gerealiseerd. Complexe geometrische vormen zijn mogelijk dankzij het eenvoudige gebruik en de universele toepassing van houten onderdelen zoals ons X-LAM (CLT) en gelamineerd hout. Ook kunnen constructies met slankere buitenwanden gebouwd worden, omdat hout dankzij zijn structuur en grote draagkracht een eigen hoge warmte-isolatie heeft, waardoor de buitenisolatie kan worden verminderd \u2013 dit levert netto ruimtewinst op. Een ander voordeel is de brandveiligheid. Bij brand vormt zich door het effect van de pyrolyse een verkoolde buitenlaag om het hout, waardoor het hout zichzelf beschermt. Bovendien is het dankzij de berekening van de brandsnelheid mogelijk om hout zo te ontwerpen dat het aan alle brandveiligheidseisen doet.<\/p>\n

Hout is een bouwmateriaal dat eenvoudig te bewerken is en dat dankzij de meest moderne productietechnologie\u00eben een hoge mate van prefab kent \u2013 zowel in de bouw met onderdelen als in de modulebouw. De prefab onderdelen worden vervolgens snel gemonteerd op de bouwplaats en snel bevestigd met behulp van eenvoudige verbindingsmiddelen. Bovendien kent hout \u2013 in tegenstelling tot beton \u2013 geen droogtijd. Nadat de houtconstructie gemonteerd is, kun je hierdoor meteen verder met de rest van het gebouw, zonder wachttijd. Hout gaat lang mee. Dit is een groot voordeel, want zo kunnen gebouwen worden gemaakt die vele decennia trotseren. Veel van de oudste gebouwen op aarde zijn van hout, bijvoorbeeld de Noorweegse staafkerken of de Chinese tempels. Een juist ontwerp is hierbij echter essentieel \u2013 juist met het oog op bestendige constructieve bescherming van het hout tegen de weersomstandigheden of binnendringend water. De hoogwaardigheid van het bouwmateriaal hout wordt weerspiegeld in het uiterlijk. Dankzij het gebruik van verschillende houtsoorten en dankzij de verschillende mogelijkheden voor de oppervlaktebehandeling kan hout optisch heel verschillend worden gebruikt. Bij de eerste investering zijn de economische voordelen van het bouwmateriaal hout vaak nog niet te herkennen. Gedurende de hele levenscyclus zijn de economische voordelen echter zeer duidelijk \u2013 vanaf de productie tot het gebruik en hergebruik. Dankzij de hoge mate van prefab van de houten onderdelen is de bouwtijd bijvoorbeeld korter, dit bespaart kosten. Tijdens het gebruik bespaar je op de energie- en onderhoudskosten. Tot slot is het circulaire bouwmateriaal hout zelfs nog rendabel na de gebruiksduur, want hout heeft niet maar \u00e9\u00e9n leven \u2013 na het eerste leven zijn er nog heel veel toepassingsmogelijkheden in andere gebouwen of in andere houtproducten.<\/p>\n

De houtskeletbouw is vanuit het verleden bij veel mensen bekend. Wij van de DERIX-groep houden ons uitsluitend bezig met de massieve houtbouwmethode, die zich sterk onderscheidt van de andere bouwmethoden.
