Ze kunnen geoptimaliseerd worden conform de constructieve eisen aan jouw gebouw dankzij het aantal lagen, de richting hiervan en de combinatie van verschillende lamellensterktes. Dankzij de kruiselingse opbouw zijn onze X-LAM-elementen zeer vormvast. Dankzij deze natuurlijke eigenschap ontstaat een zeer aangenaam binnenklimaat. De verandering van het houtvocht veroorzaakt echter tegelijkertijd ook een materiaalspecifieke volumeverandering, die \u201ezwel- en krimpgedrag\u201c genoemd wordt en kan leiden tot het ontstaan van ongecontroleerde scheuren en kraakgeluiden. Dit zwel- en krimpgedrag komt normaal gesproken niet voor bij ons hightech bouwmateriaal X-LAM. Hierbij wordt de volumeverandering namelijk geminimaliseerd dankzij de kruiselingse verlijming van de planken en het technisch drogen van het hout tot een houtvochtpercentage van 10 \u00b1 2%.
