The ceilings, walls, lift shaft and stairs are made of X-LAM. This also applies to the fa\u00e7ades, which are a special feature. The stairs were also made from glulam and cross-laminated timber. A conscious decision was made to use the shell of the building as the interior finish. As almost all of the wood remains visible, this saved a lot of money on interior finishing costs. The building envelope consists of a timber frame construction with wood wool insulation, and the fixed fixtures are also made of wood.<\/p>\n

The company wants its campers to enjoy the ultimate nature experience. That is why most of its caravans are made of wood, and this natural and sustainable building material was also chosen for the construction of the Kip Store. The timber construction brings the outdoors inside and allows visitors to experience the ultimate camping feeling right in the showroom. In addition, the wood used reduces the impact on nature, as it is renewable and stores CO2. During construction, the impact on the environment was minimal, as almost all parts were prefabricated and could be quickly assembled on site. Thanks to the dry connections, there was no need for drilling, so the environment was not affected by noise and dust.
