Thus, for the realisation of the ferry pier, a shell-like, organic form was designed that fits perfectly into the island’s surroundings. The roof construction of the terminal consists of glulam arch girders as well as individually prefabricated, partly conical glulam and X-LAM elements. Individual roof construction

For this reason, the roof was planned radially and in the form of two shell circles running in opposite directions, which are connected to each other via an intermediate structure. For this purpose, we manufactured a self-supporting arched truss construction with axis-related, individual curvatures. The result was a 4,000 m2<\/sup> free-span hall.
