    This model creates transparency and quality assurance with clear regulations, as the detailed service phases ensure that all necessary steps in the planning and construction process are taken into account. However, there are also disadvantages, as the highly structured approach according to HOAI often results in a lack of flexibility and dialogue between the project participants. Collaboration is usually sequential, which can lead to longer communication channels and delays.
