Structural wood protection refers to preventive constructive or structural-physical measures that serve to avoid an incompatible change in the moisture content of the wood<\/a><\/strong>. Structural wood protection can enable classification into a lower hazard class, which in turn contributes to the durability of timber structures<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

A suitable choice of materials and construction details as well as optimised planning are important factors in structural wood protection. By applying suitable coating systems, such as diffusion-open mid-layer glazes<\/a><\/strong> on a fine-particle pure acrylate basis, exterior components can be additionally protected. <\/p>\n

Overall, structural wood protection is essential to ensure the longevity and value retention of timber structures.<\/p>\n
