Ribbed ceiling

Ribbed ceiling

Ribbed ceilings are bonded composite cross-sections similar to hollow core ceilings, consisting of glulam ribs aligned in the main span direction and an upper planking of X-LAM. Due to the targeted bonding of the two wood materials, ribbed ceilings from a span width of approx. 6 m represent an effective and economical construction variant compared to pure X-LAM constructions. The existing spaces between the ribs can be perfectly used, for example, as an installation level.
